Seminars on the Bay
Experience the “Spirit of the Bay” and discover our magical locations with your team.
Dune du Pilat:
A constantly shifting dune, gradually covering the forest under the action of wind and tides. The colors and walks are incredible in every season. Climb to the summit, enjoy an aperitif, and witness an unforgettable sunset from La Corniche.
Oyster Villages:
Scattered around the Bay (Cap Ferret, L’Herbe, Le Canon, Piraillan, Piquey, Le Teich, Gujan, La Teste…), each village has its own charm and personality. Explore them by bike or boat! Enjoy fresh oysters right by the water at the oyster farms, stroll along the colorful huts, or watch the comings and goings of the flat-bottomed boats.
Île aux Oiseaux (Bird Island):
Situated in the middle of the Bay on public maritime land, the island is made up of five villages (Port de l’Île, Truc Vert, Saous, Îlot, and Afrique) populated with the Bay’s typical oyster huts. Its fame, however, comes from the two iconic stilted huts—the cabanes tchanquées—a true curiosity that attracts both amateur and professional photographers eager to capture the perfect shot.
Banc d’Arguin:
One of Arcachon Bay’s natural treasures, the Banc d’Arguin National Nature Reserve hosts a multitude of birds. At the foot of the Dune du Pilat and facing Cap Ferret, the Banc d’Arguin continually changes shape under the influence of winds and ocean currents.
Ville d’Hiver (Winter Town):
Away from the bustling beaches, lose yourself in the streets of this historic district in search of the most beautiful 19th-century villas with evocative names full of history (Trocadéro, Alexandre Dumas, Montesquieu), and stroll through the Parc Mauresque to the Sainte-Cécile observatory. The best way to discover Arcachon’s Ville d’Hiver is on foot!
